It almost NEVER fails … every time we go to a wedding or tell someone what we do, we hear a wedding photography horror story.
“Ugh ~ we HATED our wedding photos! I would totally hire you if I had it to do-over again!”
“Our wedding photographer disappeared after the wedding and we never saw any of our pictures.”
“We couldn’t afford a professional photographer for our wedding, so all we have is a couple of snapshots from friends.”
Well, Adam and I were in the car talking about yet another sad story yesterday and decided to do something about it. So we are giving away a free Do-Over Session!!

The offer:
- A free 2 hour photo session to do-over your uh-oh!!
- A $200 credit towards prints or an album
- The high-resolution disc of all of your images to print and share
How to enter:
- Send us an email with your story. Why do you deserve a do-over? Did you hate your wedding photos? Was it raining on your wedding day? Did your photos get lost altogether? Did you get married in the 80′s (no further explanation needed!!!)? Did you elope and not have any photos at all? Was someone important missing from your wedding day? Are you single but still want to wear an awesome white dress? We are open to hearing any story!! Feel free to include photos (the bad ones and/or a current one).
- Tell us your idea for making it right. Do you want to squeeze back into your wedding dress? Or maybe this is the best excuse ever to get a NEW wedding dress! Or a simple white dress and simple gray suit? Maybe you want to actually renew your vows? Get creative (setting? attire? premise?) and let’s come up with something super fun!
More details:
- Send all entries to us via email or through our website contact form.
- All entries must be received by the end of the day on December 25. What a great Christmas gift!
- The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges and announced the week of January 1.
- Sessions must happen in one of our two locations ~ Nashville, TN or Southern California. We are happy to travel to another location if you are able to cover our basic travel expenses.
- Session must be completed in 2011 and is subject to scheduling availability.

we loved our wedding we planned to arrive in front of a train on the cape cod rail road
we did it was awesome then we noticed that both our mothers (and my uncle who was to take the photos) were not there and caught in traffic

this is an entry for chelsea and heath! didn’t know about the contest when i posted earlier! they so deserve it–it was a hard day for them because we had just learned about copeland a week before! their photographer was ok, but not the best–she looked beautiful, he looked so handsome, but we still don’t have the photos! so sad…….anyway, it’s worth a try! thanks!

I think this is such a great thing you are doing! As you know we wanted you to take our wedding pictures but just didn’t have the funds at the time to do so. We thought it will be ok since we have both been married before and we would just save up for when our kids get married to have you shoot their wedding days. However I didn’t realize at the time what a very special day it would turn out to be. I mean I new it was special but not that big of a deal and boy was I wrong!! It was a beautiful, loving and emotional day with both of our family’s and friends! I so regret that we didn’t have you there to capture all that went on. I don’t have one picture of our two family’s joined together. This makes me very sad! I don’t have a great picture of me with my two boys or with me and my two grandchildren. The pictures were taken on a balcony in Dana Point and you can’t see any of the back drop, its all white and makes everyone look not as great as they did! Just wish we had more family pictures!! So if anyone is reading this, it doesn’t matter if it your 1st time getting married or your 50th. Have Mary take your pictures you will not regret it!!! It will be the best money you have ever spent!!! We have started a Photo’s with Mary Jar!! So when it’s filled we will be calling you!! XOXO
