Brit and Jeremy: Orange County Wedding

Brit and Jeremy pretty much rocked their wedding day ~  they were stylish, relaxed, and just plain fun to be with.  Not to mention their wedding party was a blast, and everyone made us feel so welcome.  And you KNOW how much I love a good back-yard wedding.  There is nothing more genuine and personal.  Special thanks to Sara from The Love Riot for making the day come together flawlessly! Enjoy!

Jenny and Adam: aVenue Wedding

Jenny and Adam met as students at Vanderbilt University, and what started as a friendship eventually turned into more.  They currently live in Miami where she is a physical therapist and he is a marine biologist, but they wanted to return to where it all started for their wedding.  Big Events planned a beautiful day down to every last detail at aVenue Nashville.

Jordan and Jamison: Cheekwood Wedding

There is nothing better than when we get to photograph a wedding where the couple is so excited to get married … in addition to the wedding part!  From the first time I saw Jordan and Jamison together, I knew they were perfect for each other.  It was so great to be a part of their wedding day and see all of the happy tears, smiles, and excitement between the two of them and their loved ones.  Seeing their first look photos still makes me tear up!  Here are a few favorites from their happy day.  Congratulations Jordan and Jamison!!!!

Jennifer and John: Belle Meade Plantation Wedding

We love Belle Meade Plantation – it’s one of the most picturesque and character-filled locations in Nashville.  Not to mention that our favorite wedding of all time happened there several years ago … our own :)!!  So any excuse to be there makes us happy!

Jennifer and John live in Brooklyn, but decided to come back to her hometown to host a Southern party for their friends and family.  John is an Englishman, so their guests were a delightful mix of locals combined with friends from both Brooklyn and across the pond.  They wanted a casual, un-stuffy celebration, and wanted elements of the day to reflect their life and places they love.  After being greeted with a glass of champagne, guests witnessed an intimate ceremony in the Plantation’s Boxwood Garden.  They then proceeded to dinner and dancing, complete with New York Cheesecake Pops, Brooklyn Summer Ale, Southern Pecan Pie, and a Whiskey Tasting and Cigar Bar!  The details were executed perfectly by planner Alice Hendry.

Drew and Andrew: Nashville Plantation Wedding

Drew and Andrew have overcome GREAT odds to be together … she went to The University of Alabama, and he went to the University of Tennessee.  If these two can put aside their SEC loyalties to make their relationship work, then a few rain showers certainly wouldn’t keep them down on their wedding day!! 🙂  It was truly an amazing day with lots of joy and loved ones.  Their wedding at the Evers Plantation was put together by the amazing team with Jayne Bubis Events.  The guests embraced the day, dancing the night away to none other than Super T himself … a few of them even barefoot in the mud!  Congrats Drew and Andrew!
