Hooray!  Wedding season has officially begun!!  And it. feels. good.  We’ve made a few changes in our schedule, our workflow, our travel habits, etc., this year and we are so pumped to put it all into play!

Julie and Mark’s wedding was an amazing start to what I have a feeling is going to be a such great year.  We couldn’t have asked for a better couple, a more beautiful day, or more awesome venues!

We started our day at Belle Meade Plantation, which of course has a special place in our hearts … it’s where OUR wedding was!  We had so much fun re-living those moments as we got to add to our memories there with Mark and Julie.

They chose to see each other before the ceremony.  Their first moments together were amazing … I’m always in awe when I get to peek in on these sacred occasions.  It’s really unbelievable!

The advantage of bringing 2 photographers … Adam and I had such different perspectives on this same moment and I love them both!!  Julie … you are stunning!!

Girls in boots … work it, ladies!

After some pre-ceremony play time, we all headed to the chapel at Brentwood Baptist Church.  Julie and Mark’s wedding was one of the first in this space.  How cool!

Back to the carriage house where Alice Hendry helped put together a beautiful evening of dining and dancing.

I keep coming back to this simple image over and over again.  Julie and Mark were out back waiting for their entrance into the party … her eyes say it all!

Time to celebrate!
