Kaitlin and Taylor: Belle Meade Country Club Wedding

As many weddings as we have photographed, I still pinch myself a little each time we book a wedding at the amazing honor of being asked to capture such a monumental day in people’s lives. We’re especially humbled when someone from our industry calls, as we know that they have lots of options and have seen so many photographers’ work!

We were thrilled when Kaitlin of Knestrick by Design asked us to photograph her wedding to her college sweetheart, Taylor. We instantly fell in love with this sweet couple … you can just see what genuine people they are by looking at them! And, as expected, the flowers were to. die. for. And to top it all off, the wedding was at the church where Kaitlin’s parents and grandparents were married … be still my heart!! Enjoy a few favorites!

Kaitlin’s great-grandmother’s handkerchief and her perfect gown!

I mean, how stunning is she!?!

So many lovely details!

Married!

Belle Meade Country Club was absolutely oozing with flowers … amazing!

Congratulations Kaitlin and Taylor!

Baby Mac

I think the photos really say it all about Mac.  I seriously think he’s the happiest, cutest little boy in the world!  His awesome smile didn’t leave his face the whole time I was there, and those red floppy curls … melt my heart!!  We had so much fun playing around his house, getting loved on by parents and grandparents, and getting bribed by cheerios!!  Sweet sweet boy!!

Stefani and Chip: Wedding at The Mill

Stefani and Chip were married earlier this month outside of Nashville.  We were shooting at new venues which is always fun and these two could not be more photogenic … I promise we did not hire models!!  We got lucky once again to dodge the rain and get some yummy light to make for a gorgeous day and gorgeous images.

Enjoy a few highlights!

The sweet ceremony:

Stefani and Chip’s getaway car was the most awesome Model T car!!  So fun!

We loved being at The Mill for the first time … great space, character and dance floor!

What a fun fun party!!

Congratulations Stefani and Chip!!

Katie and Hagan: Westminster Presbyterian and Loew’s Vanderbilt Wedding

We loved having the honor of photographing Katie and Hagan’s wedding last Saturday in Nashville.   As soon as I heard that her maids were wearing Charcoal Gray, I knew I would be smitten!!  Little did I know that was just the beginning of amazing details and a stunning color palette put together by Big Events.   Everything about the ceremony and reception were classic but fresh … so much to show!

I think these may be my favorite bridesmaids’ bouquets of all time … the soft color palette with succulents mixed in … yummy!

Don’t they look stunning!!

The boys looked so classic in their white dinner jackets:

The ballroom at Loew’s Vanderbilt was absolutely transformed.  Love the green and white color palette that was carried through the details:

Katie and Hagan ~ congratulations on a beautiful day and the beginning of a lifetime of happiness and fun!!

Catherine and Johnson: Leiper’s Fork Private Residence Wedding

When we first heard about Catherine and Johnson’s plans for their wedding, I knew it was meant to be for us to be their photographers.  Everything they told us was right up our alley.  Venue: Family farm.  Ceremony: Outdoor.  Reception: By a barn.  Yes, please!

The day did not disappoint and it was such a joy to watch these two celebrate their day and their love for each other.   The lovely Kate from Elegant Weddings by Angela was on hand to sort out all of the logistics.  The rain held off, and we had a beautiful day!!

Oh, gorgeous Catherine in the loveliest garden ever.  Does it get much better than this?

The ceremony began after sunset making for a glowy, romantic feel:

Don’t miss the quilt squares below that will be stitched together to make a quilt-guestbook for them:

First dance as husband and wife!

We were super excited to have our photobooth with us, and clearly this crowd was loving it!

Catherine and Johnson, we are thrilled for you two and all that lies ahead.  Congratulations and thank you for having us!!
